- Q: Is Future being terminated?
- Q: When will this take effect?
A: Future will be able to place orders on Analog Devices through September 30, 2022. Analog Devices will ship to Future up until October 31, 2022. Future will be shipping to customers until December 16, 2022.
- Q: Why is ADI making this change to global distribution
A: Analog Devices has chosen to continue the longstanding relationship with Arrow as our primary global distribution partner. Arrow is dedicated to help expand the reach of ADI's solutions globally. This means ADI customers will have frictionless access to all Analog Devices and former Maxim Integrated products and solutions through Arrow. This move to streamlined global distributor network also simplifies the support mechanism for an expanded portfolio of products, solutions, and engineering support to assist in your design journey.
- Q: Who are the authorized distributors in ADI's distribution network?
A: In addition to Arrow ADI will have several eCommerce distribution partners that can support global demand for Analog Devices & Maxim including: Digi-Key, Mouser and Premier Farnell (Newark, Element14). We will also continue to have a network of regional partners.
- Q: Will ADI be able to transfer purchase order backlog from Future to Arrow to maintain current schedule dates?
A: Yes. The operations team will be working closely with our distribution partners in each region to ensure that we have a smooth transition of supply and avoid end customer disruption.
- Q: If I have placed orders with Future, how can I get these transferred to an authorized distribution partner?
A: For customers in North America and Europe please contact Arrow as soon as possible to place your orders for any backlog from Future without a confirmed delivery date in 2022. Once Arrow confirms placement cancel your demand with Future. For the East region please contact your ADI customer transition team below. They will assist you in identifying the authorized distributor that will support you during this transition. Once your new authorized distributor is provided place your orders for any backlog from Future without a confirmed delivery date in 2022.
